The MMS Wrestlers hosted the 19 team SBC Championships at the high school on Saturday. The Fliers had a strong showing, finishing 2nd overall and 2nd in the Lake Division, scoring 210.5 points, just 2.5 points behind Champion Perkins. Earning an SBC Championship for the Fliers were Regan Schwartz, who earned a last second victory in an 18-17 final score over his Bellevue opponent. Karson Lee also earned a championship pinning his Fremont St. Joe opponent in a little over 2 minutes. Luke Frische was the 3rd Flier champion as he scored a major decision over his St. Joe opponent by a 15-7 score. Congratulations to Regan, Karson, and Luke on their Championships!
