SANDUSKY OUTLASTS THE FLIERS 60-51
Sandusky Defeats Clyde 60–51
Sandusky pulled away in the fourth quarter to earn a 60–51 varsity victory over Clyde on Friday night.
After a tightly contested first half that saw Clyde hold a slim 24–22 deficit at the break, the Streaks responded with strong second-half play. Clyde outscored Sandusky 19–17 in the third quarter before closing the game with a decisive 21–8 run in the fourth to secure the win.
Clyde (4–5) was led by JeCori Roberts with 11 points, while Oscar Webb and Aric Kauble added 9 points apiece. Karsen Garner and Chase Castle each chipped in 8 points for the Fliers. Clyde connected on six three-pointers in the contest, with Kauble knocking down three from beyond the arc.
Sandusky’s balanced scoring and late defensive pressure proved to be the difference, as the Streaks held Clyde to just eight points in the final quarter.
