Yesterday, the MMS wrestling team traveled to Fremont for the annual Fremont Invite. The Flier wrestlers came out strong against very good competition and were crowned champions of the 14 team event. The Fliers scored 261 points, outdistancing second place Anthony Wayne by 6 points. Three Fliers were crowned Champions in their weight classes: Karson Lee, Luke Frische, and Ace Dymond each went undefeated on the day. Tournament Runners up included Braxton Sours, Cole Dymond, Kingston Lowery, and Devonte Toller. Camden Crockett placed 3rd, while Shane Rodriguez, Regan Schwartz, and Trey Wetzel each placed 6th. Great job to all of our wrestlers on the day and what an awesome way to start the season! The MMS team will be back inaction for the Larry Norman invite at CHS on Saturday.
