Fliers come back and defeat Ashland

FLIERS COME BACK AND DEFEAT ASHLAND

FLIERS WIN THRILLER OVER ASHLAND, 79–75 Clyde boys basketball earned its first win of the season in dramatic fashion, edging Ashland 79–75 in a high-scoring battle at The Hangar. The Fliers used a huge fourth quarter surge, outscoring the Arrows 27–19 to seal the victory and move to 1–1. Varsity Final: Clyde 79 Ashland 75 Clyde hit 13 three-pointers, highlighted by Oscar Webb (28 pts) and Karcen Garner (22 pts) combining for 13 made threes themselves. Chase Castle added 11 points, while Aric Kauble chipped in 9. Ashland was led by Paxton Edinger (22 pts) and Reed Emmons (16 pts). JV Final: Clyde 64, Ashland 61 The JV squad also earned a tight win, giving Clyde a program sweep at the upper levels.
