Clyde girls soccer came up short against River Valley 2-1 in non-league action.

CLYDE GIRLS SOCCER CAME UP SHORT AGAINST RIVER VALLEY 2-1 IN NON-LEAGUE ACTION.

Clyde Girls Soccer Recap Clyde girls soccer (5-9-2 overall, 4-7 SBC) came up short against River Valley, falling 2-1 in non-league action. River Valley struck first in the 13th minute, but the Fliers answered in the 27th minute when Mimi Greenslade found the back of the net off an assist from Braylee Laughlin, tying the match 1-1. Early in the second half (42nd minute), River Valley capitalized on an unassisted goal that proved to be the game-winner. Macey Carter was strong in net, recording 10 saves to keep the Fliers in striking distance. Clyde will close out their regular season tomorrow at home vs. Toledo Scott, with kickoff set for 12:00 noon.
