Coach Flewelling is entering his 31st year in education, with 30 of those years dedicated to Clyde. He has been a fixture in Flier athletics, coaching football for 30 years at Clyde, 4 years Margaretta HS, and one year at Conneaut HS. He also coached wrestling 8 year at Clyde and remains deeply involved with wrestling throughout Northwest Ohio.
In addition to his coaching duties, Flewelling has taken on leadership roles at the regional level. He currently serves on the Northwest District Athletic Board (NWDAB) as a Middle School Representative, helping shape opportunities for student-athletes across the district.
A proud graduate of Margaretta High School, Flewelling went on to earn his B.S. in Business Education and Marketing Education and his Master’s degree from Bowling Green State University, followed by his Principal License from the University of Findlay.
Dedicated, experienced, and passionate about both academics and athletics, Coach Flewelling continues to make a lasting impact on Clyde schools and the broader Northwest Ohio sports community.
